For this graduation project, you will work on optimizing the User Experience Design and Sophia’s® interface. You will be researching how the interaction between the software and the clients can be improved. You will then translate your research into an advisory report with concrete, feasible recommendations. There are still plenty of solutions on the horizon and we are intrigued to see how you use your creativity to find them!

We are looking for a student in the final year of their program, who can work on analyzing 3D models. You will be researching the possibilities for calculating a hash in order to find recurring and identical 3D models. You will write a prototype of your hashing algorithm, which you will test against real production data from Sophia®. There are still plenty of solutions on the horizon!

Transporting sheet metal and tubing through the factory is done by our AGVs: automated guided vehicles. They automatically bring the material to the support mount on the laser cutting machines. This allows us to work efficiently and prevent staff members from having to lift heavy materials. We don’t want to cross these useful, automated “colleagues”, so AGVs are given priority on all paths.
Our location in Varsseveld is easily accessible, has sufficient parking for cars, and a covered area to park your bicycle. Do you prefer to travel by public transport? Varsseveld has a train station and is located along several bus lines. The train station is just a ten-minute bike ride away!
